Safetech launch new Guardian Ultra

Guardian Ultra is the latest intelligent personnel protection product from Safetech.

It prevents accidents by detecting anyone in danger and stopping the machinery.

The new system features extensive improvements using state-of-the-art technology, with digital monitoring and reporting.

A PL-d has been validated by an independent test house. The aerial frame has been redesigned using glass-reinforced plastic, which is light yet strong.

We've now completed the installation of five of Guardian systems in New Zealand, including sites in Auckland, Wellington and Hamilton. Victor Howe, who is Branch Manager for Transpacific Recycling in Wellington, gave this reaction:

"The Guardian installation was completed quickly and without disruption to the operation. Prior planning ensured a smooth delivery of the system with minimal fuss.

The Safetech system is simple to operate, and we have had no incidences of false triggers."

Safetech expands into new premises

Over the last year, the runaway success of our latest product, Guardian, has led to a demand for more space, for both manufacture and administrative work. Our new premises in Carrmere Road are just a short distance from our previous location. We decided to continue being based at Sunderland, in the north east of England, as this central position in the UK is ideal for servicing our extensive customer network throughout the country. We also have excellent transport links to Europe and America, which enable us to offer a rapid response to our many clients on those continents. The new premises not only provide more room for our expansion but also have the extra benefit of being a hi-tech building more suited to a growing electronics company, more environmentally friendly and with corresponding savings on energy costs.

34 years of saving lives

Safetech was formed in 1986 and has been growing ever since, becoming a respected and well-known name in the recycling industry. And we've had many good wishes from our customers, both end-users and manufacturers and installers of recycling equipment.

Bill Johnson, engineer in charge at RCP Macpress, sent this message: “Congratulations on reaching your anniversary. Our companies have been working together for over three decades, and it has been a pleasure to see your business grow and our relationship strengthen. Over the years, Safetech has evolved into a high-calibre, customer-focused, professional supplier of personnel protection safety equipment. You have created a very client-friendly environment and support it with outstanding customer service. I appreciate Safetech as a supplier whom we can trust to deliver the service our clients expect”.

And Richard Turner of Middleton Engineering says: “We’ve been using Safetech for many years and have included their systems on numerous installations. We tried an alternative product but we came back to Safetech as we felt they offered the system with the best performance. Their track record and the quality and reliability of their equipment are second to none. They give us an efficient and prompt service and their technicians are professional, skilled and friendly”.

Thanks for your kind remarks - we appreciate your positive comments.
